  1. Once we know your preferences, we will check availability and make a provisional booking in your name, for the accommodation. You will receive a confirmation within 1 to 2 days via e-mail.
  2. The payment of deposit (from 15% to 20% of the rental) is required within a short time of receiving our confirmation via e-mail.
    You'll pay the balance upon arrival.
  3. If you prefer not to send credit card information via the internet you are kindly requested to send a fax.
  4. Cancellation policy: the deposit (#2) is not refundable, if you cancel more than 15 days before your arrival no other penalty will be applied. If you are forced to cancel within 15 days of your arrival date your credit card will be charged for the first night.
  5. The guests in the apartment must be those indicated on the reservation form. If there are modifications, the agency must receive the consent of the apartment's owner. Disregarding these conditions leads to the immediate breaking of the contract without a refund.
    Guests are expected to maintain a "good neighbor" code of conduct avoiding loud music, shouting, making noise and other behavior which may disturb the building's residents.

Bed and Breakfast in Venice - Casa Palazzo
This beautiful Bed & Breakfast is housed on the third floor of Ca�Pesaro Papafava, noble 14th century palace, recently renovated. The Palace, situated before the Abbazia della Misericordia and the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, is very large, around 500 metres squared.

The ground floor entrance hall has also a door overlooking the waterway, hence the possibility of mooring water taxis.

The east wing is reserved for guests; the rooms are bright with a wide view over neighbouring houses.

The owners have put at guets'disposal one double room with the possibility of a third bed, with fireplace, library and bathroom with shower and sauna and one "suite" composed of two double rooms, with the possibility of a third bed; large bathroom with bath and shower. Ideal for families or two couples.

Breakfast is served in the large 150 metres squared hall - half the hall is at the disposal of guests. High quality service, refined, exclusive yet warm atmosphere (the guests are given the keys of the house).

Some History

The Palace belonged to the patrician family Pesaro and it was named Pesaro-Papafava after the marriage, in 1625, between Bonifazio Papafava and Pesarina Pesaro. It was later inherited by the Papafava family.

The Papafava palace represents an interesting repertoire of art from the XIV to the XVIII centuries. Building with Gothic style lancet arches - its rich facade overlooking the canal of the Misericordia, situated behind, is particularly valuable. Enriched by elegant Gothic mullioned windows with four lights, the protruding balcony and sleek column-shaped balustrades, the great regularity of this building recalls the Ca' Foscari edifice.
