Andrea and Cristina opened this bed and breakfast close to their vast 1,000-acre countryside property producing olive oil, wine, cereals and vegetables. The location is the southeastern corner of Tuscany a delightful, yet-undiscovered pocket of absolutely stunning countryside.La Crocetta sits at the crossroads leading up to the charming town of San Casciano, offering eight guestrooms above the restaurant,you enter this by way of a front porch, where meals are also served outdoors, into the cozy reception area set around a large sit-in fireplace. Small guestrooms with varying color schemes, each with a new bathroom, are pleasantly appointed with canopy beds and fresh country fabrics used for bedspreads and curtains. Thermal hot springs with spa treatments and horse-riding facilities are located in the vicinity. Orvieto, Perugia, Siena, and the hilltowns of Montepulciano and Montalcino are all at easy touring distance.
